I recently assisted in the sale of 323 Lake Court in the Charlotte Park area of Punta Gorda. This was not an easy sale, and the listing agent, Cady Rowe, did an excellent job.
The house has now been painted inside and out, and new flooring is going down. Speaking of flooring, my son spilled black hair color on my carpet tonight - does anyone know how to remove it?
Anyhow, now the grand plan is to have a housewarming party, so when you see all the cars in the area sometime soon, stop over and welcome your new neighbors!
Perhaps you have driven downtown Punta Gorda lately and seen the progress. The Charlotte Harbor Event Center is almost ready to open its doors, as is the deluxe Wyvern. I'm anxious to tour both!
I'm also glad that parking continues to be free for boat trailers at the Punta Gorda boat ramps at Laishley Park downtown and Ponce de Leon Park in Punta Gorda Isles. I firmly believe that parking in all public places should be free. Let's get free parking at Port Charlotte Beach and Englewood Beach and give our police officers a break so they have one less job to do!
I hear that the weather is turning downright cold up north already. Well that's just fine with me. It's just lovely here, and we have plenty of places for our northern friends to stay. I just listed a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo for rent at Maria Manor for $600/month. Nicely updated and totally carpeted, 2nd floor with the pool just stpes from your back stairway. If you know anyone who is 55+ and might be interested, ask them to call me.
